DIRTFLEET

DirtFleet

DirtFleet Hours

Dead-simple asset hours and meter logging.

Machines, trucks, attachments — one tap after shift.

Reminders that respect the crew, logging that queues on device when signal drops (PWA cached reads where it helps), photo-of-meter OCR, per-part service tasks, and transparent flat fleet pricing — maintenance and asset docs, not an FMCSA-certified ELD. Full TMS and heavy analytics stay optional add-ons so the core stays minimal and sticky.

A diagnostic-port tracker (supports up to 3 optional cameras) that talks to the same app — hardware target Mid-2027.

Live fleet uptime

Platform pulse

Built for yards & job sites • Offline-friendly queues + cache • Small fleets welcome • No per-seat tax on drivers

Log hours in three taps

Pick the asset

One list: machines, attachments, trucks—plate, unit number, or photo.

Log hours or meter

Type the reading, or snap a photo of the dash and confirm. Optional flag if something's off.

Sync when you're back

Hours drafts queue on the device when signal drops; uploads once you're online (cached reads via the installed app).

Built for Your Fleet

  • Honest engine hours and meter readings—not end-of-month guesses.
  • Hour-based PM alerts (e.g. service due at 500 hours) without a CMMS project.
  • Unlimited operators and managers on the same simple price.

Construction & earthmoving

Engine hours and meter readings without clipboards in the mud.

Ag & rental fleets

Who ran which unit—and whether service hours are honest.

Mixed road + off-road

Same flow for pickups and yellow iron; small fleets, minimum fuss.

Hardware · Target Mid-2027

A tracker that talks to the same app crews already use.

Software-only fleets stay on the daily habit. Beta cohorts who want telemetry get a diagnostic-port-and-camera tracker built for the same crews — engine hours sync without anyone tapping anything, and up to three optional cameras can capture the kind of incident a clipboard never does.

  • Plug into J1939 (yellow iron) or OBD-II (light-duty) — engine hours, RPM, coolant temp, fault codes flow in automatically.
  • Supports up to three optional cameras — e.g. forward, left mirror, right mirror — for incident review and dispute resolution.
  • Local WiFi mesh keeps telemetry buffering when cell drops. No silent data gaps in remote pits or backcountry yards.
  • GPS + ATECC608A secure element + signed firmware updates. Built to SAE J1455 vibration / shock specs.

Founding-rate beta locks software and hardware pricing for the lifetime of the account. Hardware stays opt-in — software-only fleets keep working unchanged.

Fair use policy

DirtFleet is priced to be simple and predictable for the vast majority of fleets. Our standard plans include unlimited assets and unlimited users under a fair use policy designed to ensure a great experience for everyone.

For organizations with more than 1,500 active assets or more than 200 active user accounts, we may require a custom plan to provide appropriate performance, support, and onboarding. If your fleet is above these thresholds, please contact us and we'll work with you on a tailored solution.

Illustrative sizing

  • Typical mixed fleet (illustrative size)$199/mo or $1,990/yr list
  • Larger fleet — same list subscription$199/mo or $1,990/yr list

List rates shown; actual invoice follows your cadence and any grandfathered beta agreement.

DirtFleet is maintenance documentation, PM, and asset tracking — pricing here does not buy an FMCSA-certified ELD or interstate HOS product. Regulatory questions belong with FMCSA guidance or a retained compliance professional.

Why crews actually open it every day

  • Solves forgotten end-of-day logs with gentle reminders—not nagware.
  • Photo of the dash: faster than typing, and removes meter-read errors.
  • Zero training: open app, tap asset, enter reading, done.
  • Offline-capable for remote yards: logs queue on device; UI often readable without signal.
  • Repair flagging in 3 taps so problems don't sit on a clipboard.
  • No feature pile-on—so crews actually adopt it.
  • Unlimited users removes the “who pays for operators?” fight.
  • Flat fleet pricing builds trust with finance — no spreadsheet to renegotiate every hire.
